The Smithy Gallery invited me to participate in a group exhibit in July 2022. I was happy to display "Suburban" and "Landings" for the first time in this show.

For a second year in a row, I am honored to have been invited to participate in the Stagecoach Run Art Festival. This year I will be in Franklin, NY at Blue Farm Antiques displaying a new body of work.
The 23rd annual Stagecoach Run Art Festival is July 7 and 8 in Treadwell, NY. "The Stagecoach Run Art Festival is a free, self-guided open studio and gallery tour of nearly 70 of the area’s best artists, performers and makers." I am honored to have been invited and will be at the Natural Gardens, venue #13.
I am excited to say, I was recently accepted to The Smithy Membership Gallery in Cooperstown, New York. This is a new venture for me as I begin to connect with the local artists' community in the Cooperstown area. My husband and I own and operate Pail Shop Vineyards two miles from Cooperstown in Fly Creek, New York. We live here in the summer and most weekends through out the year, so meeting other artists and becoming familiar with our local art scene interests me. In addition to hosting art exhibits and teaching art classes in our tasting room, we are working to develop additional ways to support the visual arts at Pail Shop Vineyards. I believe my new membership in The Smithy will assist me in this pursuit as I come to know and work with other visual artists in the Cooperstown area.
August 26 through September 30, I have a solo exhibit of new work at the Cooperstown Art Association Gallery on Main Street in Cooperstown, New York. The opening reception is Friday, August 26 from 5 to 7pm.
The online news site "artitute.com" interviewed me as part of an article about the Fresh Air Fine Arts Festival in Singapore. I had numerous paintings on display at the Luxe Museum of Art during the festival, which ran from November 17-November 30, 2013.
I had the honor of being invited to exhibit at the Fresh Air Fine Arts Festival in Singapore. I was also asked to give two Art Talks; one about Symbolism in Painting and one about Art in Education. The show was installed at the Luxe Museum of Art in downtown Singapore from November 17 through November 30, 2013. It was a wonderful display of art and music! In addition to the beautiful show, there was one artist lecture and three classical music performances every night.
I painted for the entire month of August in Saratoga, Wyoming at the Brush Creek Artist Residency. It was amazing! I complete five of six images from my "Migration Series". One is posted here, the rest can be seen in the Symbolic Painting section of this website.
This summer I'll be working on my new "Migration" paintings at the Brush Creek Artist Residency in Wyoming. The image pictured is a 'work-in-progress' from this series. My goal is to complete six 3ft x 3ft boards, while also devoting some time to hiking, star gazing and horseback riding!
